Welcome to the Ormskirk Beekeepers web site

Ormskirk Beekeepers forms part of Lancashire Beekeepers Association. We have around one hundred and eighty members to date and welcome aspiring and existing local beekeepers.

You'll learn about our Branch's activities and we'll also provide you with useful information about the art of beekeeping, both locally and nationally.

You will also find some useful links to beekeeping resources on the Internet and we share recent bee related news articles on our blog.

If you think that you might be interested in beekeeping please contact our Branch Secretary and arrange to come along to one of our Meetings. To apply for membership or renew please use this application form.

We run an Introduction to Beekeeping Course once a year in the Spring which gives you both classroom based theory and practical experience before you need to buy any equipment.

If you have seen a Swarm of honey bees please take a look at our Swarm page.
